Belgrade Girls Softball
We strive to develop girls' skills in softball (running, throwing, catching and hitting), teach them how to play by the rules of softball, learn sportsmanship (how to win and lose), teach teamwork and to play for fun!.
We also provide a framework where girls may participate in local, state and out of state tournaments experiencing competition at an advanced level

Rec Ball
DATES
U8-Tuesdays and Thursdays, with occasional games on Friday and Saturday.
U10-Mondays and Wednesdays, with occasional games on Friday and Saturday
U12-Mondays and Wednesdays, with occasional games on Friday and Saturday
U14-Tuesdays and Thursdays with occasional games on Friday and Saturday
GAME LOCATIONS
Rec Ball games can be played in the following locations:
Belgrade, Bozeman, Manhattan, Townsend, Three Forks, Amsterdam, Big Timber, Livingston, Ennis
We are looking for umpires for nightly games M-F and occasional Saturdays. Umpires arrive at 6pm, plate meeting at 6:25 and games start at 6:30pm. Games can be at main complex, or field 5 (by soccer complex)

Coaching
All coaching applications for the the upcoming 2024 season (both rec and travel) need to turned in by December 7th 2023.
Both new AND RETURNING coaches MUST fill out and turn in an application!
Winter ball will begin January 7th on Sundays. We request that any coaches be willing and ready to help with your age group at all winter ball dates.

WINTER BALL 2024
BGSA has secured the Special Events Center (SEC) at Belgrade High School for 8 Sunday afternoons for winter softball practices.
We want to provide opportunity to all of our REC ball and TRAVEL ball girls to get a jump start on their throwing, batting, fielding, pitching and catching prior to the start of our 2024 season.
These skill days will run on Sundays; January 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, February 4th, 11th, 25th, and March 3rd (skills day for Rec ball teams).

2:30-4:00-U12/U14
Winterball is free to all BGSA players, however you MUST be registered in order to attend.
